It's nice to see the nice cars, and a slice of the Palace - your ticket only allows you to see a small portion of the Palace, as a majority of it is a hotel, and another is still inhabited by the Raj.
Made out of yellow sandstone, located on a hill above the city, Umaid Bhavan Palace was one of the last great palaces to be built and the royal family of Jodhpur still occupies a section of it.
Residing in the actual palace of the royal family of Jodhpur ensures you are not treated in any way less than a royal itself. It is probably considered as one of the best and beautiful palace hotels.
Grandeuer and luxury is what defines this luxury hotel. Made of yellow golden sandstone in this golden city of Rajasthan. Vintage car rides, marbled square courts, finest brandy and a game of billiard
The museum is great if one is interested in the old family snapshots of the current living Maharaja of Jodhpur who does happen to have a dreamy polo playing son who makes the photos worth a gander.
Umaid bhawan is royal, that's the only word i have to express the magnitude of this place...a must vist in jodhpur ... And i love the amul lassi they serve :p
