Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu

Tokyo Disney Resort (東京ディズニーリゾート, Tōkyō Dizunī Rizōto) is een themapark en vakantiepark in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan. Het park werd geopend op 15 april 1983.

Tokyo Disney Resort is in het bezit van en wordt beheerd door The Oriental Land Company met een licentie van The Walt Disney Company. Het park heeft 3 hoofd entertaintment secties: Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea en Ikspiari wat een variatie is op Downtown Disney. Het beheert ook Bon Voyage!, de officiële Disneywinkel in Urayasu.

Resort

Het resort bestaat uit de volgende onderdelen:

Tokyo Disneyland - Het eerste themapark van het resort, gebaseerd op de Amerikaanse Magic Kingdoms in Anaheim en Orlando.
Tokyo DisneySea - Het tweede themapark werd geopend op 4 september 2001 en heeft water, zeevaart en avontuur als hoofdthema's.
Ikspiari - Een uitgaans- en winkeldistrict, vergelijkbaar met Downtown Disney in Walt Disney World en Disney Village in Disneyland Resort Paris.

If you don't like queuing, then perhaps Universal Studios, Osaka might be a better theme park to visit, where they offer single rider queue line and purchasing of queue passes before day of visit.

If you decide to buy an evening entrance ticket, don't expect any of the Standby / Priority / Premier Access passes to still be available. Currently no options to pre-purchase prior to visiting.
